Utilizing Inference’s Advanced Search, documents can be searched by using traditional Boolean operators, or Conceptual queries to perform analysis on any number of document parameters. Utilizing the Concept Direct feature, document sets can be filtered to return only those that contain those conceptually similar to a sentence, paragraph, or other phrase you may enter, including excerpts from an investigation notice or discovery request.

Advanced communications analysis.
To expedite an investigation process, Inference offers advanced features such as Email Trace, which provides for a visual analysis of email conversation patterns. With it, you can select a document set and analyze who was involved in those discussions. You can also analyze who sent what documents to who over a period of time, in addition to observing the density of communications between parties. By visually analyzing email communication, Email Trace can also reveal communication trends between various authors and recipients, revealing new paths of evidence exploration.
