Production Services
Inference believes that output and production should be turn-key, fast and cost effective. The Inference platform provides a range of formats and tools for this critical stage in the litigation process, and throughout the process, clients maintain control of the data whether managing production for themselves, through a third party, or with the assistance of Inference’s expert operations team.
System Output
The Inference platform is XML based, providing flexibility for industry-standard exports from the system. Users can directly create exports in both Text and Excel formats, including any/all metadata at no cost. In addition to system-based export options, and for more complex requests, Inference also provides export options in XML, ASCII, Excel, Access or any standard output format (such as Concordance or Summation) managed by the client services and operations teams.
Users can also export directly from Inference by leveraging the system’s unique ability to print PDF documents on demand. Through this unique tool, users can print up to 1,000 documents, with the ability to add page separators, watermarks, headers, footers and bates numbering. This user-friendly function can be leveraged for ancillary productions, witness kits, deposition preparation, and attorney hard copy review. For images that have been created, the PDF output feature is available at no additional cost, whereas Inference only charges once, should images be required on-the-fly.
Production
In addition to production and export options available from the Inference platform, Inference Data’s client services and operations groups can work with case teams to expedite production to specific case requirements and needs. Inference managed production services include all custom endorsements, native or image productions, load file generation, and all other aspects related to case production requirements. Moreover, the project management team will perform a series of Quality Assurance tests to ensure that production parameters have been followed carefully and accurately. For example, ensuring that all parent/child related documents have been produced according to the discovery request specifications, and ensuring the privilege tags have been consistently coded, and validating that any included load files are properly formatted and tested for Concordance, Summation or any other case management tool. |
