Inference Review Toolset
Inference combines a conceptual analytics suite with a complete Review and Production toolset. From an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, Inference incorporates traditional review practices with advanced analysis tools in a customizable, web-based eDiscovery platform that helps to prioritize review, streamline workflow, and organize case strategy. With Inference, review teams are provided with a "best of breed" solution that offers a variety of methods and features to drive review.
Searches & Queries
| Inference offers both keyword and conceptual searching directly from the main interface. From Advanced Search users can build simple and complex queries, including fielded, parametric, proximity, and wildcard, as well as conceptual searches, using familiar query syntax and Boolean operators. Moreover, Inference users can combine fielded queries and conceptual search through the application’s Concept Direct feature, offering users a variety of tools to refine or broaden search and review. | Searches & Queries |

Collections
| Every eDiscovery matter is different, and so is the organization of data. Inference offers case teams Collection management as a method of structuring and organizing eDiscovery datasets, including by custodian, producing party or original data source. Data can be organized into customized groups that enable users to search on specific datasets or within pre-defined parameters. By selecting specific Collections, users can limit their searches to focus only on specific data segments or broaden search across the entire repository. | Collections |

Review Mode
| Within Inference’s Review Mode, users can quickly code documents based on customized field and issue tags. Documents can be viewed as images in PDF or in native format in both an HTML rendered view and within the native application. Keyword hits can be highlighted to provide rapid identification of important terms. Field level security enables customized views for multi-party cases or even within a single firm to separate contract attorney tags from more strategic coding. | Review Mode |

Hot Keys
| Inference provides several methods for quickly tagging documents within an eDiscovery repository. Users have the ability to tag documents using custom subjective coding fields, or by using Hot Keys, to quickly and easily code documents. Hot Keys not only dramatically increases review speed by simultaneously tagging multiple coding fields through a single keystroke or mouse click, but more importantly ensures that contract attorneys are consistently tagging documents. | Hot Keys |

Redaction
| It is crucial that privilege and confidentiality be protected in litigation environments. Inference makes it easy to apply Redactions, in both opaque and transparent versions, on any section of a document in preparation for production. While protecting the confidential nature of data held in the repository and special image, treatments are performed during redaction to ensure that all underlying text is removed to avoid accidental disclosure. | Redaction |

Customization & Organization
One of the most important considerations when selecting an electronic discovery platform is determining its level of customization and usability. Inference offers multiple layers of customization – from user-level access and closed user groups, to data customization – to organize data, and review structure and workflow from a clean, easy-to-use interface. Based on the requirements of a matter, Inference can be configured to mirror a case's data structure, create Collections and Folders to aid document discovery, review workflow, and enable user-based roles based on administration rights. In addition to high-level repository configuration, Inference’s displays, views, subjective coding, and features such as Clusters, Query Refinement, Hot Keys, and Standard and Enhanced Printing, are also customizable at the user, group, and repository levels. |
