Lou Andreozzi, former CEO of LexisNexis North America, has joined New York–based Inference Data (www.inferencedata.com) as CEO. The company also has hired Peter Florian as vice president of marketing and business development, and Brian Pendergrast as chief technology officer.

Prior to joining Inference, Florian was vice president of marketing and e-discovery at CT Summation. Pendergrast comes from a position as senior vice president and chief technology officer for VNU Media and Marketing Information Services.

Andreozzi has also joined the legal advisory board of Washington- based Avvo Inc. (www.avvo.com). Other new additions to the board include Robert Hirschon, president of the American Bar Association; and professor Deborah Rhode, of Stanford Law School.
