Peter Florian and Brian Pendergast Join Inference Data
Seasoned marketing and technology executives round out senior management team
at e-discovery analytics innovator
Lynbrook, NY (May 8, 2007) – Inference Data announced today that the company has
appointed Peter Florian Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, and
Brian Pendergast Chief Technology Officer. The two new executives round out
Inference’s leadership team headed by recently appointed CEO Lou Andreozzi, former
CEO of LexisNexis North America.
Andreozzi commented, “With Peter and Brian on board, Inference has a complete
management team and all the pieces in place to establish our solution as a market
leader in the next wave of e-discovery analytics technology.”
Peter Florian has a track record of driving growth at both consumer and business-to-business
companies. Prior to joining Inference, he was Vice President of Marketing and
e-discovery at CT Summation, a division of Wolters Kluwer. From 2001 to 2004, Mr.
Florian was Chief Marketing Officer for Thomson Financial, a $1.9 billion division of
Thomson Corporation. Previously, Peter built a successful marketing agency with clients
including Bloomberg, McGraw-Hill, Credit Suisse, and theStreet.com.
Brian Pendergast is a recognized leader in the enterprise data mining and software
solutions industries. Mr. Pendergast was formerly the Senior Vice President and Chief
Technology Officer for VNU Media and Marketing Information Services (The Nielsen
Company). During his tenure with VNU, Brian helped execute several major acquisitions
and technology integrations including A.C. Nielsen, SRDS, and Nielsen Media Research.
Prior to VNU, Mr. Pendergast spent ten years with Digital Equipment Corporation as a
Consulting Engineer in the High Performance Systems division.
Inference’s senior management team also includes President Nick Croce and Vice
President of Operations Robert Marsh. From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Croce served as
President of DOAR Litigation Consulting, where he drove introduction of groundbreaking
courtroom presentation technologies that are used by the nation’s largest law
firms and set industry standards for courtroom technology within the Administrative
Office of the US Courts. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Marsh was Vice President of DOAR,
during which time he managed the nationwide deployment of communication and
presentation solutions to the United States federal courts.
